Crafil started its activity in 2004 in Riba de Ave, dedicating itself to the supply of industrial sewing threads. Leaving with a great passion for the product, a strong desire to make it cross borders and a great desire to explore new ideas and techniques, the company grew in the following years responding creatively to an increasingly competitive market. Since it is a “living” material, which reacts in different ways to different processes, denim has been a great point of interest and great passion since the company’s inception. Exploring all its specificities and how to adapt and find creative solutions in this area, the company decided to invest in the sharing and awareness of educators and students in this field, namely in the “House of Denim” in Amsterdam. In this sharing, the denim professionals are elucidated for the technical skills of the lines, their multiple characteristics and their unlimited creative capacities. Personalized service, quality and direct contact with customers are essential premises for the company, which allowed it to grow, adapt and continue the work it has been developing so passionately. Today, with ten years of history and seventeen employees, Crafil is part of the generation of companies that continues to believe in the future of the Portuguese textile industry, the result of a young and energetic mentality that wants to be present in the world.
